WCW News: Vampiro quits? + Hogan, Sting, more
By Eric Loy on June 14, 2000
The following comes off of the newswire.
[Thanks to Dave Meltzer and Wrestling Observer Online for the news reproduced in this report.]
» The original plan for the Billy Kidman/Hulk Hogan/Horace Hogan feud was for Torrie Wilson to end up with Hogan. It may or may not still happen; that is up in the air.
» WCW wants Sting to return in one month with another new look. Sting isn't happy with the new character planned for him, making him another disgruntled member of the WCW locker room.
» Vampiro nearly quit WCW last night at the Thunder tapings when he was asked to beat up a woman (Asya), because his family has a history of spousal abuse, and he felt uncomfortable doing the spot. Eric Bischoff talked him into doing it.
» The morale in the WCW locker room is said to be at an all-time low right now, and nerves were high at last night's Thunder tapings because of the morale, poor business, and it being the third day straight on the road.
