  • Vampiro almost quit WCW + Bash at the Beach
    By Dustin H on June 14, 2000

Vampiro almost quit WCW + Bash at the Beach card

The following is a piece of news from the news wire. The source has been credited in the news piece:

  • WrestlingObserver The Wrestling observer reports that for the Bash at the Beach on 7/9, the top two matches advertised are Jarrett vs. Hogan for the title and Goldberg vs. Nash. On TV they are playing up that Hogan is in the hospital from Goldberg putting him through the table and acting like he won't be coming back. Which means he'll be back soon.

  • Wrestling Observer The Wrestling Observer reports that Vampiro nearly quit the company (again) because he claimed to have a history of spousal abuse in his family and didn't want to beat up a woman, which sounds funny since he just set a guy on fire and threw him 40 feet to his death. Eric Bischoff talked him into doing the angle for the team.
