- Goldberg received 190 stitches in his head from a concussion he suffered in December.
- Goldberg has 10 cats.
- Goldberg and his girlfriend have 29 pets in all with range from dogs to cats to horses.
- Goldberg is very good friends with Dallas Stars forward Brett Hull and his family. Goldberg went to game 6 of the Stanly Cup finals with Brett and was about to leave when New Jersey Devils player Scott Gomez pulled him into their celebration. By the time the celebration was over, Goldberg had a Devils jersey and hat and ran into none other than Hull on his way out.
