News on KOTR Main Event, Kanyon, and Spice

The following is off the newswire, the sources have been credited within the piece. - Wade Keller is reporting that Kanyon has an apartment by his house in Atlanta that he rents out to younger WCW wrestlers who are new to WCW and are looking for a place to say. - Spice is mad at WCW because she was supposed to get the interviewing spot on WCW television that was given to Paula Paulshock. Spice is known backstage as having a very bad attitude. She has also been known for complaining aoubt not receiving a large enough push in WCW. - As you will see on Smackdown the stipulations for the main event at King of the Ring are that if The Rock, Undertaker, or Kane pin Triple H, Shane, or Vince that the wrestler who scores the pin will be awarded the number 1 contendership to the WWF Championship. But if Triple, Shane, and Vince win the match the winner of the King of the Ring will be awarded the number 1 contendership. This will be used to favor Triple H, Shane, and Vince in the actual match because The Rock, Undertaker, and Kane will all be fighting to get the pin. - But these stipulations do have another interesting side to them as well. Due to the fact that The Rock, Undertaker, and Kane will be fighting for who actually gets the pin, there is a very strong chance that Triple H, Shane, and Vince will end up winning the match. This would leave the winner of the King of the Ring as the number 1 contender to the WWF Championship. Personally, I see this making the King of the Ring winner either Kurt Angle or Chris Jericho. If Kurt Angle were to win the King of the Ring, the WWF could bring in the Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle relationship at Angle's WWF title shot with Stephanie helping out Angle and causing him to win the WWF Championship. If Chris Jericho were to win the King of the Ring it would also make a lot of sense because his minor feud with Triple H that has been going off and on in the past months would be brought into the spotlight and a WWF Championship match would result at Fully Loaded, between the two.
