News: The Rock, Nitro Moving Rumors, Tazz....
By Zach Weinberg on June 15, 2000
- As you probably have heard, the Rock has received 2 movie offers in addition to the role in The Mummy 2 which he has already filmed. One of them would be a prequel to The Mummy 2 using his character, and the other one is a science fiction movie in which the Rock would play both good guy and bad guy roles. - WCW Officials have denied rumors of Nitro going back to their 9-11pm time slot. - I have received contradicting news from a few different sources that I would like cleared up. I have heard that WWF No Mercy for N64 will be released on November 17 and also December 17. If anyone can clear this up, please email me. - Here are some highlights of a recent Tazz interview: ~ Many people thought he wouldn't fit into the WWF because he'd refuse to job and wouldn't pay his dues. He's proving those detractors wrong. ~ Mike Awesome didn't leave ECW the right way. When you have the title belt, you owe it to the fans and the other wrestlers to go out in the proper manner. He understands that Mike had issues with Paul Heyman, but so did Tazz and many others. There's a right way and a wrong way to do things. ~ He sat with Mike and Tommy Dreamer in a hotel in Indianapolis before the recent title match and the three of them talked about how fascinating it was that a WCW wrestler and a WWF wrestler were about to wrestle in an ECW arena with a world title on the line. ~ He's glad WCW is doing better and hopes they continue to improve. They're not doing anywhere near the WWF's numbers but the guys are working hard and it's good that the company is doing better. ~ Rob Van Dam chasing Justin Credible for the title should be great for ECW. You could give the belt to Tommy Dreamer, but Tommy's entire gimmick is that he's a dreamer who never quite gets the prize. TAG-TEAM.COM -- Here we go again! We have 10 brand new pics of TYLENE BUCK!
