WCW/WWF News: Steve Austin, KOTR and MORE

*TNT's Standards and Practices overruled several planned storylines for Monday's Nitro. Vampiro was originally supposed to set the locker room on fire and have Asya, a female wrestler, be the most seriously "injured." Several wrestlers were also against the storyline. Vampiro also was against delivering his finishing move at Tuesday's Thunder tapings to Asya because he didn't want to do the move on a woman.
*It seems that the WWF only has little interest in Curt Hennig, whose WCW contract expires soon. WCW is negotiating with Hennig on a new contract and I doubt that he'll get much (if any) WCW television time unless a new deal is signed.
*It's being reported that the reason WWF had banned piledrivers was of because of the injury Austin suffered a few years ago. Incase you didn't know, Austin has had piledrivers banned from his matches ever since that injury.
-"I won't ever take a piledriver in a match," Austin said. "There isn't anyone who will ever piledrive me."
*The Parents Television Council has persuaded MCI WorldCom to pull their advertising from WWF Smackdown!.
*Tonight, the WWF will be co-promoting another event with Puerto Rico's IWA promotion in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. Here is the card:
-WWF Tag Titles: Too Cool vs. Edge and Christian
-Street Fight: Hombre Dinamita (aka Savio Vega) vs. Huracan Castillo
-4 Way Dance for IWA Tag Titles: Club WWF vs. Star Corp. vs. Nueva Generacion vs. Sexy & Sensual
-Tables Match: Shane vs. 'Super Cuban' Fidel Sierra
-Hardcore Match: Hardcore Holly vs. Miguel Perez
