Another valet released from WCW
By Justin Winslow on June 16, 2000
The following news item is off the newswire. The source has been credited. Al Isaacs of Scoops Wrestling reports that Shikira, one of Big Poppa Pump's valets, has been let go by WCW. A voice message was left for her on her cell phone that her services would no longer be required. This release comes from Shikira's refusal to take lessons at the WCW Power Plant. Shikira was up front about her refusal to take bumps when she was first hired by WCW, as her father was a worker for Vince McMahon Sr. years ago. According to another woman within WCW, all the girls are being asked to take lessons and bumps at this point as part of their job requirements, without a bump in pay, she noted.
