Vince McMahon "Insulted" By USA Network Offer
By Michael Payton on June 16, 2000
USA Cable sued the WWF, Viacom. and CBS Corp. in Delaware Chancery Court to retain high-rated WWF pro-wrestling shows after WWFE planned to shift shows to Viacom’s The Nashville Network and MTV: Music Television. McMahon testified that although he’s loyal to USA because it has distributed his programming for 17 years he was "insulted" by a renewal offer the programmer made last fall. Chancellor William Chandler urged both sides to settle the case. He is expected to make a decision by the end of the month. TWNPNews.com: VINCE RUSSO about To Quit WCW! We Have The Story!
