  • Update on Kimberly Page and Hulk Hogan's ego
By Justin Waine on June 16, 2000

The following piece is a rumor, it has not been substantiated or confirmed.

Jon Farrer of 2kwrestling reports that Kimberly Page is expected to meet with WCW officials sometime before Monday Nitro to try and work at their differences. Kim is apparently extremely unhappy that she wasn't allowed to take much time off to nurse her husband, DDP, while he recovers from injury. She did not quit because of woman beating angles, nor the fact they wouldn't give her time off to appear in Playboy. In fact that's the opposite, Russo would've welcomed exposure in Playboy for WCW. Reports are that Russo is dead set against bringing Kim, Luger and Liz back into the fold, whether that is true or not time will tell, but it is highly likely all will reach an agreement and be back on TV with anyone noticing. No word yet if the problems with Vince Russo will have any effect on the return of Page.

Jon Farrer also reports that Hulk Hogan is reportedly having his ego as 'the biggest it's ever been' in the locker room. He is apparently demanding that he squash all opponents, bar Horace (his nephew), Kevin Nash and Goldberg. Hogan had to be heavily convinced that going through a table on Nitro was 'the right thing to do' and wouldn't damage his image one bit. Bischoff is said to be letting it go, while Russo is undergoing investigations to see whether the situation warrants action. Hogan is currently strongly against Russo's booking, and if the rumors of his departure from WCW are true, Hogan will definitely favor it.
