WWF News: Shawn Michaels, KOTR, Owen Hart

*Much of the WWF crew had to drive from St. Louis Mo. to Chicago IL. to make the Smackdown taping because of inclement weather, many flights were delayed or canceled.
*Shawn Michaels's indy promotion in Texas featured WWF superstars recently, last Friday, D-Lo Brown and Essa Rios (w/Lita) were featured in the main event tag match against two TWA workers. This Friday, Funaki, Taka and Headbanger Mosh are being advertised. Three of HBK's trainees are under WWF development contracts.
*The head of Viacom, Mike Marmazin, said last week if UPN doesn't turn a profit soon, they will fold the newly acquired network. He said Viacom already has a profitable network in CBS and they don't need a second network unless it's profitable. He said though, he would take a million dollar bet that UPN will thrive under Viacom's ownership rather than feel the axe.
*This Sunday night on Heat, the King of the Ring tournament starts, when Bull Buchanan takes on Saturn and Val Venis faces Jeff Hardy.
*During the Los Angles Dodgers vs. Okland A's baseball game last Sunday, they were talking about Jason Giambi of the A's and how he used to wear other Canadians' initials on his baseball cap. He said that he had the initials of the late Owen Hart.
