  • MCW Results for June 17th, 2000
By Nick Evanish on June 17, 2000

The following results are from the MCW Promotion

MCW TV Taping results for June 17th, 2000
The tapings open up with David Jett (one of the main announcers) saying that the New Daisy Theatre will be the home for the TV tapings from now on. Theres a 6 man tag-team main event. David Jett runs his mouth some more about absolutely nothing, and then announces that we'll see Lord Steven Reagal in a match after a commercial break.

    Steven Regal vs. Pete Gas

    Before the match:
Reckless Youth cuts a promo on MCW returning to the Daisy. Pete Gas of the Mean Street Possee is facing Steven Reagal. Pete gas is actually keeping some kind of control over the match, slightly. A shoulder block, hip toss, headlock.. Steven regal Manages to reverse teh headlock. Again, Pete Gas whips him into the ropes, and another shoulder block, followed by yet again another hip toss. Pete Gas has a combonation, oh my god! Gas gets thrown outside, and loses control of the match. Regal tries to do a vertical suplex and Pete Gas counters with a rollup pin, almost had him. Pete Gas gets whipped into the ropes and lands a Sunset Flip on Regal. Gas starts to nail the hell out of Steven Regal until Regal hits some kind of Twisting Neckbreaker (called a swinging jack or something?). But Pete Gas gets pinned.

    Winner: Steven Regal, by pinfall.

Bobcat is in a match versus her brother. He makes a snobby ass out of himself in some footage from after they went off the air last week, Bobcat and her brother are arguing. She challanges him to a loser leaves town match.

Bobcat VS. Johnny B (Her brother)
Johnny B is resluctant to get into the actual match. They tie up and theres a break. Johnny B starts in control of the match. Just a few minor punches, they are pulling any major moves. Hip Toss and an arm drag from Bobcat. Bodyslam from Bobcat. Her brother is backing into the corner. He comes up from behind while she's gloating and hits her. Bodyslam by himself. Foot choke and a Suplex by her brother. She still kicks out of the pin. Bobcat throws her brother into a corner, gets him upside down on the top turn buckle and starts slamming him with groin kicks. Bobcat hits a twisting DDT, and pins her brother.

    Winner: Bobcat, by pinfall.

There is some recap footage of the War on Ice at the mall of memphis that was held. It was a free event. After the main event is shown (which was K Krush vs. Jerry Lawler), K Krush cuts a promo on Jerry Lawler about the 6 man tag team match and also on the TV tapings this upcoming wedsenday.

The Fabulous Rocker vs. The Kingpins
The Rocker comes out and cuts a promo that he's tired of just being up one person, he wants to take on a tag team. Then he issues an open challenge to any tag-team in the back. The Kingpins come out and accept his challenge. Rocker gets powerbombed right out front. The Kingpins begin doubleteaming him. Big over-the-shoulder toss on the Rocker. Rocker does atleast get a little comeback and hits a hip toss and a headlock, but gets put up for a powerbomb then hits a hurracarana AND a DDT on each respective member of the Kingpins. David Lee Mullet comes out with Ronny James. Rocker hits one of the kingpins with a sign, then the Mullets hit the other with a bowling ball. Rocker gets a senton bomb and hits a pin. The Mullets leave with the Kingpins bowling balls. The Kingpins take out the Rocker after he got the win.

    Winner: The Rocker, by pinfall.

They show clips from Bitty and Hollywood little doing a promo at a local store, and Neidhart comes out and jumps Bitty.

Rocker cut a promo on the Kingpins saying that he has a big roller he's going to introduce. Regal cuts a promo on not wanting to fight the likes of Pete Gas, and doesn't want to fight any more inferior opponents. He issues an open challenge to anybody.

Curtis Hughes, K Krush and Jim Neidhart vs. Jerry Lawler, Reckless Youth and Bitty little.
Everybody makes their way to the ring. Lawler and co are accompanied by Hollywood little. Neidhart vs. Bitty start off. Headlock on Bitty, but he reverses it into a whip and gets shoulder blocked for his reversal. Neidhart tags in Hughes and Bitty tags in Reckless Youth. K Krush gets beat up by Jerry lawler after they get exchanged in, and Lawler tags in Bitty. K Krush regains control shortly thereafter. K Krush hits a modified fame-asser (like Bull Buchanans finisher), and Neidhart powerbombs Bitty little as he gets tagged in. Hughes gets tagged in, and they tag-team Bitty little for a moment. Hughes keeps control on the match, and misses a couple of near-pinfalls. Krush gets tagged in, and gets a nasty-looking powerslam off. Then he takes bitty and moves him close to the tag-team corner, and holds his hand out, then throws him in the center of the ring and pins him. Lawler breaks it up, and Neidhart gets tagged in. Everybody is in the ring and fighting. Neidhart and Reckless Youth go outside. Krush grabs the title belt and slams lawler with him, then gets the pin on lawler after he's laid out in the middle of the ring.

Winner: By Pinfall, K Krush with the pin, Neidhart and Hughes.
