WCW News: Bret Hart, Goldberg, Russo, Storm
By Joe Starson on June 17, 2000
-Thanks to The Pro Wrestling Torch for the following:
*Bret Hart's doctors sent WCW a letter saying Hart won't be able to wrestle until the end of November. Bret Hart's contract with WCW expires on Novemeber 30, just a week after his projected return date. In the letter sent to WCW, Hart's doctors also stated that the full extent of his injuries is uncertain. Hart was scheduled to meet with Dr. Jim Kelly last week for further examination.
*Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff didn't reveal Goldberg as the surprise to those who attended the production meeting. When it came down for them to discuss thr angle, they breezed pver it, wrapped up the meeting, and said they would discuss it with some other agents.
*Reports indicate, both, Russo and Bischoff seem to be getting a long, they both drive to and from shows together, even watch the Nitro replay together.
*Lance Storm's work visa was not issued in time for him to appear at Nitro as originally scheduled. His character will be repackaged before he debuts witch should be within the next couple of weeks.
*Friends of Kanyon say he has an apartment built into his home and rents space to younger wrestlers in WCW.
