The Richter Library is a federal government documents depository and has several special collections, including a vast Cuban collection and the archives from the original Pan American World Airways, Inc. The Lowe Art Museum is the oldest and largest museum in Dade County, housing over 9,000 objects in a 36,000 square-foot facility. The University also has a number of unique sites relating to academic and research efforts.
