Facilities
The University's six campuses house 151 buildings occupying 4.7 million square feet. New construction projects planned between 1998 and 2002 total $236 million. Medical facilities include the the Diabetes Research Institute, the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, and two University-owned hospitals--the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute/Anne Bates Leach Eye Hospital.
