There’s no doubt that the Auburn men’s basketball program has returned to prominence after the team’s second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament in 1999-2000. The Tigers also topped the 20-win mark for the second straight season, marking the most successful 2-year run in school history.

Jim Fyffe and Byron Franklin deliver exciting coverage of every Tiger basketball game.

The Tigers ended the season at 24-10, advanced to the final game of the SEC Tournament and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Sellout crowds at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum continued as 1999-2000 season tickets sold out once again.

With statewide coverage, the Auburn Network delivers the excitement of Auburn Basketball to thousands of eager listeners every game. In addition, fans outside of the Auburn Network’s coverage area can listen to games via the Auburn Network On-Line Internet site. Coverage begins with a 30-minute “Tiger Tipoff Show” that sets the stage for the game along with a last-minute visit with Coach Ellis.

Play-by-play announcer Jim Fyffe and Color Analyst Byron Franklin provide exciting coverage of the games from start to finish. The postgame show includes a live visit with Coach Ellis and players from the Auburn lockerroom only minutes following the game’s final buzzer.
