FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Heath Higgins hit a pinch-hit homerun in the top of the ninth inning to give Auburn a 10-7 win over Arkansas.
After an hour-and-a-half rain delay, the Tigers and Razorbacks had plenty of offense and plenty of errors. The game was tied at seven before Higgins' homer.
Auburn scored ten runs on eight hits and committed sever errors. Arkansas scored seven runs on six hits and committed five errors.
Mailon Kent was 2-4, scoring three runs and driving in one. Gabe Gross was 1-2 with a run and a pair of RBI.
Levale Speigner started the game for Auburn, pitching four and two-thirds innings. Speigner gave up seven runs on six hits, two walks and a pair of strikeouts. Colter Bean picks up the win for Auburn and improves to 5-1.
Brad Bohannon was the losing pitcher.
