AUBURN- Auburn has launched a brick project that will allow fans the opportunity to a become permanent part of Tiger Walk. Bricks are on sale for $125 and will be placed in an entryway plaza of the new Jordan-Hare Stadium Dressing Room Complex which will also signify the end of Tiger Walk.
The brick project will help finance the new locker room complex. The first phase of the $2.9 million project has already been completed and includes the home and visitor dressing rooms, media rooms, training rooms, new home field access tunnels and the visitor's coaches locker room.
Phase two includes the addition of the home coaches' locker room, a 2000 square foot recruiting lounge, officials' locker room, elevator and brick entryway plaza.
Bricks will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Only one name and a maximum of two lines engraving will be allowed per brick.
A minimum of 6,000 bricks will be placed in the entryway plaza prior to the start of the 2001 season.
