AUBURN- Seven members of the Auburn women's Gymnastics team earned National Association of College Gymnastics Coaches for Women Academic All-America honors for the 2000 season.
Senior Sarah Wentworth and sophomore Lori Bernia each earned their first Academic All-American honors, while juniors Missy Lauderdale and Jill Redding were each named All-American for the second consecutive year.
Junior Sally Cantrell garnered All-American honors for the third straight season, while sophomores Meghan Michaels and Susan Morgan earned academic honors the second straight year.
The Auburn Gymnastics completed the 1999 season with a 4-8 record under first-year head coach Jeff Thompson.
