Florida Defeats Auburn 8-1 In Women's Tennis

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- The Auburn women's tennis team dropped to 4-5 on the season with an 8-1 loss to #4 Florida Sunday at the Linder Stadium and Ring Tennis Complex in Gainesville, Fla. The Tigers are 0-1 in the SEC while Florida is 3-0 in conference play and 6-0 overall.

The Tigers lone win came on court four where Lucy Altman defeated the number 12th ranked player in the nation, Baili Camino, 6-4, 6-3. With the win, Altman improved to 7-2 on the season.

The Tigers return to action, March 5th at 12:00 noon (CST) when they take on Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
