Jacob Ridenhour

Director of Basketball Operations

 

Jacob Ridenhour enters his fourth year as an administrative assistant on Cliff Ellis' staff. For the four seasons prior to being named administrative assistant, Ridenhour worked with Tiger basketball, three as a manager and one as a graduate administrative assistant.

The Salisbury, N.C., native is in charge of all administrative duties pertaining to the basketball team as well as overseeing academics. Ridenhour, who was the director of the 1997 Cliff Ellis Basketball Camp, is a 1995 Auburn graduate with B.S. degree in Physical Education.

With the knowledge of Auburn and the SEC, Ridenhour was instrumental in helping Ellis and his staff make the transition when they arrived at Auburn. He has played a supportive role in the rebuilding of the Auburn basketball program.

Ridenhour has worked six years at the Auburn Basketball Camp during the summer as well as camps at Virginia Commonwealth and has been highly involved in the youth programs in the Auburn area by coaching little league baseball and basketball in Auburn.

Prior to becoming a manager at Auburn in 1992-93 under former head coach Tommy Joe Eagles, Ridenhour was a volunteer assistant coach at Auburn High School under Frank Tolbert.

Born November 14, 1969, Ridenhour is single.
