After spending four years playing for the Tigers, Kate Brian has moved from the role of pupil to teacher.

A native of Melbourne, Australia, Brian graduated with a degree in exercise science in 1998. Along with her assistant coaching responsibities, Brian is currently working on earning a master's degree in sports administration.

After completing her graduate work, Brian has set her sights on working with a sports management firm that works primarily with tennis players.

When Brian finds the time to get away from the courts and the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her friends and going to the beach.

During her playing days at Auburn, Brian was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll three times. Brian also was ranked as high as 29th in singles and 11th in doubles in the South Region.
