12-29-99 - Dyko Brant

I was calling 1-900 numbers late last night when my pal Kevbo called me on the automated telephone. After a brief smattering of dialogue, we remarked upon the hilarious fact that DIVX was dead. He helped me come up with a hilarious new idea for a hilarious new strip, and I immediately started drawing it. It's one of my personal favorites so far, entitled "Dopey DIVX". I think I'm getting better at drawing my characters, eventually I might make an episode where one of them moves their arms in a panel. It will be great.

When I was taking a shower today and slipped on the soap, bashing my skull against the rail of the towel bar, I suddenly remembered that Trespasser wasn't a very good game. Sure it had dinosaurs and crates and guns, but it just wasn't very fun. I brainstormed for a few hours as to how I could possibly translate that into another one of my gut-bustingly hilarious comics. I couldn't come up with anything so I just drew today's strip instead.

Oh boy do I ever feel zesty today. I was playing on HEAT.net this morning and came to the wacky conclusion that nobody really plays Blood 2 online these days. I could not understand why, as I think that Blood 2 is personally one of the best and most creative games ever made. It's not their fault it came under bad marketing and poor product support. Anyway, I slapped on a little "Old Brute" cologne to make myself feel pretty and penned the newest comic regarding the hilarious antics of our two heroes thinking about Blood 2. This is one of my favorite strips so far, and has the most animation frames I have ever put into a single episode to this point.
