Vulnerability Scan Report Post after running the nvd-cve skill: ``` :beetle: *Vulnerability Scan — Fleet Summary* _2024-02-21 | NVD Database_ ┌──────────┬───────────────────┬──────────┬──────┬──────┬────────┐ │ Device │ Software │ CRITICAL │ HIGH │ MED │ Action │ ├──────────┼───────────────────┼──────────┼──────┼──────┼────────┤ │ R1 │ IOS-XE 17.9.4a │ 2 │ 3 │ 5 │ :red_circle: URGENT │ │ R2 │ IOS-XE 17.12.1 │ 0 │ 1 │ 2 │ :large_yellow_circle: PLAN │ │ SW1 │ IOS-XE 16.12.4 │ 5 │ 8 │ 12 │ :red_circle: URGENT │ └──────────┴───────────────────┴──────────┴──────┴──────┴────────┘ *Top Exposures:* :red_circle: CVE-2023-20198 (CVSS 10.0) — Affects R1, SW1 — HTTP server exposed :red_circle: CVE-2023-20273 (CVSS 7.2) — Affects R1 — Web UI accessible _Detailed CVE analysis per device in thread →_ ``` ## Scheduled Report Delivery NetClaw can deliver reports on a schedule when asked: | Report | Suggested Cadence | Channel | |--------|------------------|---------| | Fleet health check | Daily 06:00 UTC | #netclaw-reports | | Security audit | Weekly (Monday) | #netclaw-reports | | NetBox reconciliation | Weekly (Wednesday) | #netclaw-reports | | Vulnerability scan | Monthly (1st) | #netclaw-reports | | Topology validation | Monthly (15th) | #netclaw-reports | ## Formatting Guidelines 1. **Use emoji sparingly** — severity indicators only, not decoration 2. **Tables for structured data** — use monospace blocks for alignment 3. **Thread long outputs** — keep top-level messages concise (< 20 lines) 4. **Attach files for full reports** — text files for detailed output, images for diagrams 5. **Always include timestamps** — UTC, ISO format 6. **Link to ServiceNow CRs** — when changes are involved 7. **Reference GAIT sessions** — for audit trail continuity 8. **Pin important baselines** — use bookmarks for reference reports ## Comparison with Previous Reports When delivering a new report, reference the previous one: ``` :chart_with_upwards_trend: *Health Trend — R1* _Compared to last check (2024-02-20 14:00 UTC)_ │ Metric │ Previous │ Current │ Trend │ │ CPU 5min │ 10% │ 12% │ :arrow_right: Stable │ │ Memory │ 71% │ 78% │ +7% │ │ Interfaces │ 4/4 up │ 4/4 up │ :arrow_right: Stable │ │ Ping RTT │ 21ms │ 23ms │ :arrow_right: Stable │ :warning: Memory trending upward — investigate if continues ``` ## Failure Behavior - On a tool error (timeout, unreachable host, malformed response), report the failure and its error message directly to the user rather than fabricating or guessing at results. - For a confirmed read-only call, check connectivity and retry once if appropriate. For any call that changes state or sends a message, a timeout does not prove the action failed: inspect current state or delivery status before retrying, preserve the required approval/change gates, and do not repeat an action whose outcome is unknown.
