# Contributing

Hey, thanks for considering contributing to this list. We really appreciate it. 

Please follow the following guidelines when submitting a PR -

* Read the introduction in README and make sure your addition(s) are valid for this awesome list. 
* Description about links should give an account of the outstanding features and major short-coming of the item, if any.
* Description should end with a full-stop.
* Add new items at the bottom of the list of a category.
* New categories can be created if and when needed.
* Do not add an app that requires an account to use its core features. An optional account for saving history is fine when the main features work without one.
* If your app is only useful for a specific region or country, add it under the category "Region/Country-Specific". If we have too many apps under a particular country or region, a sub-category can be created for that region or country. 
* Only add an app or tool, not a list of other tools.
* If you are adding a suite of tools, make sure those tools are very closely related to each other, like a suite for just PDF tools or just Image tools. If it's a general-purpose suite with tools in many categories, we believe it is less useful and might not add value to our collection.

Apart from that,

* Try to avoid adding similar apps in **Miscellaneous** section. At max 2 similar kinds of apps are acceptable. 
* If there are lots of similar apps for something you want to add and the thing you are adding has no advantage over them, don't add it. Eg > Youtube downloaders
* Check your spelling and grammar twice before submitting a PR.
