AniLens ("the Extension") **does not collect, store, or transmit** any personal user data, browsing history, or video content to external servers. All video processing and upscaling operations are performed locally on your device using WebGPU technology.

## 2. Permissions Usage
To function correctly, the Extension requires specific permissions:

*   **Read and change all your data on the websites you visit (`<all_urls>`):** This permission is strictly used to access `<video>` elements on web pages you visit in order to apply real-time upscaling filters. The Extension does not read or modify any other content on page.
*   **Storage:** Used solely to save your local preferences, such as the enabled/disabled state and upscaling mode.
*   **ActiveTab:** Used to detect when a user interacts with the extension popup on a specific tab.

## 3. Third-Party Libraries
The Extension utilizes **ONNX Runtime Web** for running AI models. This library is included within the extension package and runs locally. No data is sent to Microsoft or any other third-party services during inference.
