The AxionQuant MCP server plugs directly into Claude Desktop and any other MCP-compatible client, letting an LLM answer natural-language financial questions - stock quotes, crypto prices, SEC filings, earnings transcripts, economic indicators, and more - using live data instead of stale training data.

### Claude Desktop

## Troubleshooting

**Tools not appearing in your LLM client** - Restart the client and verify the config file path is correct and absolute.

**API requests failing** - Check that `API_KEY` is set correctly in your environment or config. Review server logs for detailed error messages.

**Server won't start** - Ensure Node.js v18+ is installed and the package is installed via `npm i @axionquant/mcp`.
