AstroSeeker is a natal chart calculation app. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

## Data Collection

AstroSeeker does **not** collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All natal chart calculations are performed locally on your device.

### Location Data

- The app requests access to your device's location to determine coordinates for chart calculations.
- Location data is used **only on your device** and is never transmitted to any server.
- Location permission is optional. You can manually select a location on the map instead.

### Data Stored on Device

- Birth date, time, and location preferences are stored locally on your device using shared preferences.
- This data never leaves your device.

### Third-Party Services

- **OpenStreetMap**: The app loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap servers. OpenStreetMap may log standard web request data (IP address, request time). See [OpenStreetMap Privacy Policy](https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy).
- **Google Generative AI**: When you use the AI insights feature, your chart data is sent to Google's API for processing. See [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).

### Analytics

AstroSeeker does **not** use any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks.

## Children's Privacy

AstroSeeker does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page.
