新闻核查助手 (News Fact Checker) — Chrome 浏览器扩展 v2.0.0

1. 数据收集 / Data Collection

新闻核查助手不会收集任何用户个人信息。具体而言，我们：

• 不收集用户身份信息（姓名、邮箱、电话等）
• 不收集浏览器历史记录或书签
• 不收集用户的 IP 地址
• 不使用 Cookie 或任何追踪技术
• 不收集用户行为数据（点击、滚动、停留时间等）

The extension does not collect any user personal information. We do not collect identity data, browsing history, IP addresses, cookies, tracking data, or behavioral analytics.

2. 数据处理 / Data Processing

当用户访问被识别为新闻文章的网页时，本插件会自动提取页面上已有的新闻文本内容（标题、正文、来源、发布时间），并发送至以下第三方服务进行分析：

• 智谱 AI (Zhipu GLM API) — 用于 AI 事实核查分析，发送的数据包括新闻标题、正文摘要（最多 5000 字）、来源和 URL
• Bing News Search API（可选） — 用于搜索相关报道进行交叉验证，发送的数据仅为从新闻标题和正文提取的关键词

上述数据仅在分析过程中临时使用，不会由本插件或其开发者存储。第三方服务的数据处理受各自隐私政策的约束：

• 智谱开放平台隐私政策：open.bigmodel.cn
• Microsoft 隐私声明：privacy.microsoft.com

When a news article page is detected, the extension extracts visible page content (title, body text, source, publish date) and sends it to third-party AI and search services for analysis. This data is used only during the analysis process and is not stored by the extension or its developer.

3. 本地存储 / Local Storage

本插件使用 Chrome 的 chrome.storage.local API 在用户本地存储以下配置信息：

• 用户自行填入的 API Key（智谱 API Key、Bing API Key）
• 用户偏好设置（是否自动核查、是否显示 Badge 分数等）

这些数据仅存储在用户本地浏览器中，不会上传至任何服务器。插件卸载后数据将自动清除。

The extension uses Chrome's local storage API to save user-configured settings (API keys and preferences) on the user's device only. This data is never uploaded to any server and is removed when the extension is uninstalled.

4. 缓存机制 / Caching

分析结果缓存在浏览器内存中（session 级别），用于避免对同一页面重复分析。缓存最多保留 100 条记录，浏览器关闭或插件更新后自动清除。

Analysis results are cached in browser memory (session-level) to avoid redundant analysis of the same page. The cache holds up to 100 entries and is cleared when the browser closes or the extension updates.

5. 权限说明 / Permissions

本插件请求的 Chrome 权限及其用途：

• activeTab — 获取当前标签页信息，用于在新闻页面显示浮窗
• storage — 在本地保存用户设置和 API Key
• scripting — 在新闻页面注入浮窗 UI 和内容提取脚本
• alarms — 用于定时任务（计划功能）
• <all_urls> host 权限 — 用于在任意网站上检测新闻页面并提取内容

插件仅在检测到新闻文章页面时才会激活内容提取和发送分析请求，不会在非新闻页面上进行任何操作。

6. 第三方服务 / Third-Party Services

本插件依赖以下第三方服务，各自有独立的隐私政策：

• 智谱 AI (Zhipu GLM) — 提供 AI 大语言模型分析服务
• Microsoft Bing Search API — 提供新闻搜索验证服务（可选）

本插件开发者无法控制第三方服务对数据的处理方式，建议用户查阅相关服务的隐私政策。

7. 儿童隐私 / Children's Privacy

本插件不面向 13 岁以下儿童，也不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。

This extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. 政策更新 / Policy Updates

我们可能会不时更新本隐私政策。重大变更将通过插件更新说明或项目页面通知用户。

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through extension update notes.

本插件基于 MIT 许可证开源，源代码可供审查。

This extension is open-sourced under the MIT License. The source code is available for review.
