MileSnap is a mileage tracking utility designed for field workers and contractors. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how MileSnap handles your data.
Data Collection
MileSnap does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with third parties. All data remains exclusively on your device.
Location Data
MileSnap requests "Always On" location permission solely to detect vehicle movement and trigger odometer reminders during your configured time windows. Location data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted, stored on external servers, or shared with anyone.
Camera
MileSnap requests camera access solely to photograph your vehicle's odometer. Photos are saved to your device's local storage only. No images are transmitted or shared without your explicit action.
Local Storage
MileSnap stores trip logs, settings, and reminder preferences locally on your device using iOS secure storage. This data never leaves your device.
Notifications
MileSnap uses local notifications to remind you to log your odometer readings. No push notification servers are used. All notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device.
Third Parties
MileSnap does not integrate any third party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Children's Privacy
MileSnap does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
