Anchor Selector does **not** collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or user information.

## Permissions

The extension requests the following browser permissions solely for its core functionality:

- **activeTab** — To interact with the currently active tab when the user activates the extension.
- **scripting** — To inject the content script that highlights anchor elements on the page.
- **storage** — To save user preferences (e.g., display settings) locally in the browser. This data never leaves your device.
- **tabs** — To access tab information needed for navigation.

All data associated with these permissions remains on your local device and is never transmitted to any external server.

## Third-Party Services

Anchor Selector does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

## Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted in this document within the project repository.
