Thank you for using **Liveness Example**. This Privacy Policy explains what data our app collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

## 2. Data We Collect

### 2.1 Camera & Facial Data
The app uses your device's **camera** to perform real-time liveness detection and face matching. All facial image processing happens **entirely on your device** (on-device / offline). We do **not** collect, transmit, or store your facial images or biometric data on any server.

### 2.2 Gallery Images
If you choose to pick an image from your gallery for face matching, that image is processed **locally on your device** only and is never uploaded or shared externally.

### 2.3 Locally Stored Enrollment Data
Enrolled face profiles (embeddings) are stored in an encrypted local database on your device using **Hive**. This data never leaves your device. You can delete it at any time from within the app.

### 2.4 Device Permissions
The app requests the following permissions:

We request only the permissions necessary for the features you use.

- We do **not** collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifiers.
- We do **not** transmit any data to remote servers or third-party services.
- We do **not** use advertising networks or analytics SDKs.
- We do **not** share any data with third parties.
- We do **not** use cookies or tracking technologies.

## 4. On-Device Processing

All AI inference for liveness detection and face matching runs **fully offline** using ONNX Runtime on your device. No internet connection is required or used for these features. Your biometric data never leaves your device.

## 5. Data Retention & Deletion

Enrolled face profiles stored locally on your device are retained until you explicitly delete them within the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

## 6. Children's Privacy

This app is **not directed at children under the age of 13**. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data through this app, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.

## 7. Security

Since all data is processed and stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security measures (screen lock, encryption). We use Hive's built-in storage to keep local data organized, and we do not have access to this data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the **Last Updated** date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
