Barcode detection occurs entirely on your device. ### 1.6 Product Submission Photos If you submit a product photo: - The photo is uploaded to Firebase Storage - It is used solely to help identify and catalog the product - Photos are associated with an anonymous user identifier --- ## 2. Anonymous Authentication The Application uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to generate a stable anonymous identifier for your device.
