A screenshot is captured only when you visit a site you manually added to your Blocked List.

Screenshots include:

Visible content of the active Chrome tab

URL of the visited site

Timestamp of the visit

Screenshots are:

Never captured without user consent

Never collected automatically

Never captured outside blocked site visits

Only sent as part of alert emails

1.3 Settings & Preferences

Stored locally in your browser:

Blocked website list

Monitoring on/off state

Email address

Subscription activation status

This data never leaves your device unless required to send an email alert.

1.4 Automatically Sent Diagnostic Events

Scout may notify your configured email when:

Monitoring is enabled or disabled

Settings are modified

The extension is uninstalled

These notifications support accountability integrity.
