Read `../../shared/coach-contract.md`.

Start from the decision/hypotheses. Prefer primary/direct evidence. Record
contradictions and negative evidence. Separate credibility, relevance, recency,
and independence. Stop when more research is unlikely to change the decision.

Produce `research-plan.md`, `research-synthesis.md`, `evidence-ledger.md`,
`open-questions.md`, and `handoff.md`.
