# Explain decision provenance

Retrieve the Decision, its sources, actor attribution, audit events, and full supersession history. Explain facts in this order:

1. What was decided.
2. Why it was decided.
3. Who or what acted and through which surface.
4. Which source evidence supports the record.
5. Whether it superseded another Decision or was later superseded.
6. Which Decision is current now.

Clearly distinguish recorded facts from inference. Do not expose source content the caller is not authorized to read.
