# Agent Assistance Agent Assistance is enabled by default, but remains user-invoked. “Prepare AI analysis” performs a bounded local measurement and creates a short-lived, user-only, redacted evidence packet. “Ask my default agent” is a separate explicit foreground action that opens `omarchy agent prompt` with that packet. It is never run by startup, refresh timers, or automatic power actions. Users can disable the feature in the plugin settings. The selected agent may use a remote provider and broad user-level permissions. The evidence JSON excludes process names, command lines, environments, paths, host identity, network identity, serials, and arbitrary `/proc` data. The foreground launch prompt must name the local session instructions file, so the selected agent and its provider may receive that local XDG state path; this is disclosed before launch and is why launching remains a separate user action. NVIDIA telemetry, when available, is direct board power—not battery or per-process power. Returned analysis is advisory; typed proposal, consent, apply, verification, and rollback remain authoritative. Each session includes a user-only `completion.signal`. The agent writes its bounded response first and changes the marker to `ready` last. Quickshell watches that file and performs one digest-bound backend check. If an agent does not update the marker, the user can request one manual check. Marker contents never bypass response validation.
