This container serves the responsive Web UI and the /v1/state sync API from a single image, so your Web and Android clients sync against your own server instead of a cloud account. Tasks stay in browser storage until you connect a client to this server. The Toduck auth token below is the admin credential: it is required, must be at least 32 characters, and the container refuses to start without it. Additional users can be created by the admin in the Web UI (Settings, Users) and get their own personal tokens for sharing tasks. State is stored as /data/state.json in the Appdata Storage path, with state.json.bak kept as the last known good copy; back up that whole path. Use TLS or a trusted private network (for example Tailscale or a VPN) if you expose Toduck beyond your LAN. Renamed from Cat2Duck: existing manual Cat2Duck installs keep working on the same /data directory — just point the image at ghcr.io/catduckgnaf/toduck and rename CADENCE_TOKEN to TODUCK_TOKEN (and CADENCE_ALLOWED_ORIGINS to TODUCK_ALLOWED_ORIGINS); there is no fallback for the old variable names.
