Frank Investments was founded by two friends — an investment specialist and a tech entrepreneur and philanthropist — to help others build and protect a lasting legacy. Paul Sedgwick serves as head of investments and Paul Barry-Walsh as director. Sedgwick first began learning about investment strategies at the knee of his father, the former chairman of British multinational investment manager Schroders. He brings over 35 years of wealth management experience to Frank Investments, which was named in homage to his grandfather, an engineer who lived by an ethos of hard work, exacting standards, future-forward solutions and community-driven entrepreneurship. Under Sedgwick’s management, the firm’s balanced portfolio has averaged compound annual returns of seven percent since inception. Barry-Walsh has been recognised by the Crown for his contributions to enterprise and charity. He channelled some of the £170m from the sale of his business, Safetynet, into establishing Frank Investments and The Fredericks Foundation, a microfinance organisation that’s funded over 1,000 new businesses in the UK. The cofounders have assembled a small team of driven and talented professionals to provide clients with bespoke investment solutions as well as a comprehensive suite of compliance and regulatory offerings.
