In May 2026, Tekcapital received a 51 percent interest, for no cash consideration, in Vesari Inc., its portfolio company established to commercialise geothermal-powered AI data-centre intellectual property. Eleven non-provisional US patent applications were assigned to Vesari, with transfer recorded by the United States Patent and Trademark Office in June; a twelfth followed in August.
At 30 June 2026, Tekcapital's net assets were $201.7m, up from $55.1m at 31 December 2025, and portfolio valuation reached $191.4m from $46.9m. Portfolio returns and revenue totalled $145.5m, compared with $6.1m a year earlier; profit after tax was $144.8m and operating expenses fell 7.3 percent.
Independent assessment placed the Vesari portfolio at approximately $293m at 30 June, supplying a stated basis for capital allocation and interim reporting. The company's disclosure distinguished portfolio appreciation from operating earnings, an important control where a newly formed vehicle accounted for much of the period's uplift.
Coverage across behind-the-meter power integration, thermal management, energy-aware orchestration and satellite connectivity gives the portfolio a defined technical scope. The patents were transferred into a separate commercialisation vehicle before Tekcapital set out prospective routes involving development, licensing, project finance and capital markets.
A contract-first development sequence, with site control and anchor offtake preceding construction, sets milestones against which technical and commercial progress can be tested. The combination of documented IP transfer, independent valuation and transparent presentation of valuation-led gains supports a measured view of the strategy's early-stage potential. The Capital Finance International (CFI.co) Judging Panel congratulates Tekcapital on winning the Leadership in High-Value Intellectual Property Strategies 2026 Award (Global).
