# Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

## Our Pledge

We as members, contributors, and maintainers pledge to make participation in the sculp-js community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socioeconomic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

## Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

- Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward other people
- Respecting differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
- Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
- Accepting responsibility, apologizing to those affected by our mistakes, and learning from the experience
- Focusing on what is best for the community, not only for us as individuals

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

- The use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing another person's private information, such as a physical or email address, without explicit permission
- Other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

## Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards. They may remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, documentation, issues, and other contributions that are inconsistent with this Code of Conduct, and will communicate moderation decisions when appropriate.

## Scope

This Code of Conduct applies in all project spaces. It also applies when an individual is officially representing the project in public spaces, including when using an official project account, posting through an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an event.

## Reporting and Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior should be reported privately to the project maintainer through the contact methods listed on the [maintainer's GitHub profile](https://github.com/chandq). Do not open a public issue containing sensitive personal information.

All reports will be reviewed promptly and handled as confidentially as reasonably possible. Maintainers will respect the privacy and safety of the reporter and will avoid conflicts of interest. A maintainer who is the subject of a report must not participate in resolving it.

## Community Impact Guidelines

Maintainers will use the following guidelines when determining the consequences for actions that violate this Code of Conduct.

### 1. Correction

**Community impact:** Use of inappropriate language or other behavior considered unprofessional or unwelcome.

**Consequence:** A private written warning explaining the violation and why the behavior was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.

### 2. Warning

**Community impact:** A violation through a single incident or series of actions.

**Consequence:** A warning with consequences for continued behavior. The individual may not interact with the people involved, including unsolicited interaction with those enforcing the Code of Conduct, for a specified period. Violating these terms may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.

### 3. Temporary Ban

**Community impact:** A serious violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior.

**Consequence:** A temporary ban from interaction or public communication with the project for a specified period. Violating the terms of the ban may lead to a permanent ban.

### 4. Permanent Ban

**Community impact:** A pattern of violating community standards, sustained harassment, aggression toward individuals, or disparagement of protected groups.

**Consequence:** A permanent ban from public interaction within the project community.
