1. Data We Collect

Camera Access:
Required to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time. Camera frames are processed locally on your device and are not stored or transmitted.
  
Gallery Images:
When you choose the Scan Gallery feature, selected images are processed locally on your device only to detect QR/barcodes. Images are not uploaded or stored.
Scan History:

Scanned QR/barcode content (text or URLs) may be stored locally on your device to provide a scan history feature.

2. How Data Is Used
Camera and gallery access are used solely for scanning QR codes and barcodes.
All barcode processing is performed locally on your device using on-device machine learning.
Scan history remains on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

3. Ads and Third-Party Services

This app displays banner and interstitial advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) and limited device information for ad delivery, personalization, and fraud prevention.
Data collected by AdMob is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

4. Sharing & Export

The app allows you to copy or share scanned content using Android’s system share features.
Sharing is initiated only by explicit user action. The app does not automatically share any data.

5. Permissions

CAMERA: Required to scan QR codes and barcodes using the device camera.
READ MEDIA IMAGES / READ EXTERNAL STORAGE: Required only when you choose to scan QR codes from images in your gallery.
INTERNET & NETWORK STATE: Required to display advertisements.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Scan history is stored locally on your device.
You can delete scan history at any time from the History screen.

7. Children’s Privacy

This app is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect new features or policy requirements.
