This Privacy Policy describes how Beift ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal and health information when you use our mobile application. By using Beift, you agree to these terms.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide AI-driven health insights and connect you with fitness professionals.

a. Information You Provide:

Account Data: Name, email, and hashed password (via Firebase Auth).

Health Profile: Height, weight, age, gender, and activity levels.

Professional Data: For trainers/dieticians, we collect professional certifications for verification.

b. Daily Health Logs:

Nutrition & Activity: Calories, micronutrients, water intake, and step counts.

AI Vision: Food photos are sent to Google Gemini for real-time nutrient analysis. Note: We do not store these images permanently on our servers.

c. Automated & Location Data:

Transient Location: We use approximate GPS coordinates via Open-Meteo to provide weather-based hydration alerts. This data is processed momentarily and never stored.

Device Data: Pedometer data for step counting.

2. How We Use Your Information
AI Smart Warnings: To compare your intake against your Bulk/Cut targets and warn you of nutrient gaps (e.g., Low Iron).

Marketplace Connectivity: To allow you to share health logs with trainers or dieticians you choose to hire.

Automated Reports: To generate weekly health narratives using Gemini AI.

Payments: All transactions are handled securely via Google Play Billing. We do not store credit card details.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with:

Google Firebase: For secure data hosting and authentication.

Google Gemini API: To process food photos and health summaries.

Open-Meteo: For localized weather data.

Trainers/Dieticians: Only when you explicitly choose to connect with them in our marketplace.

4. Wellness & Medical Disclaimer
Beift is a wellness tool and is NOT a medical device. AI-generated insights regarding nutrition (e.g., iron or calcium warnings) and workout suggestions are for informational purposes only. They are not clinical diagnoses. Always consult a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.

5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your information as long as your account is active.

User Control: You can edit or delete your data directly within the App settings.

Full Deletion: Upon account deletion, all personal and health logs are purged from our Firebase database within 30 days, subject to legal requirements.

6. Children’s Privacy
Beift is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover such data, it will be deleted immediately.

7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) and Firebase Security Rules to protect your data. While we strive for absolute security, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
