# Splitbon license notice

Splitbon contains material under more than one license. This notice defines the
scope of the repository-level licenses and must travel with a redistributed
copy.

## BSL 1.1: new Splitbon original work

`LICENSE` applies only to **Splitbon Original Work**: copyrightable material
first published by `cyborcc` under BSL 1.1 on or after the commit that adds
this notice, and contributions for which `cyborcc` has received the contributor
license grant described in `CONTRIBUTING.md`.

The BSL 1.1 parameters, including the free personal, household and internal
organization use grant, are in `LICENSE`.

## MIT: ShareTab, historic Splitbon work, and other material

The ShareTab upstream and material previously released under MIT remain subject
to their MIT permissions. This includes all existing public MIT releases and
tags, including earlier Splitbon modifications. Those permissions are not
revoked or restricted by the BSL 1.1 transition.

The MIT text and the required copyright notices are preserved in
[`LICENSES/ShareTab-MIT.txt`](LICENSES/ShareTab-MIT.txt). For any material that
combines MIT-licensed and BSL-licensed portions, the MIT permissions continue
to apply to the MIT-licensed portions.

Third-party dependencies retain their own licenses. Dependency licenses are
not replaced by this notice.

## Trademark

Neither `LICENSE` nor the MIT license grants a trademark right in the Splitbon
name, logo, or other `cyborcc` marks. Fair, nominative references are not
restricted by this notice.

## Questions and commercial licensing

For a commercial license for Splitbon Original Work, contact `cyborcc` through
the repository's GitHub contact channels before deploying it for a use outside
the BSL Additional Use Grant.
