# Perk Done Privacy Policy / 隐私政策

## What the extension stores

Perk Done manually tracks credit-card benefits. It stores the card products you
add, nicknames, optional last four or five digits, custom perks, hidden-perk
settings, card display order, validity dates you enter, completion dates,
user-entered amounts used, configured annual fees,
and theme/language preferences. It does not require full card numbers, bank
credentials, or transaction information. Avoid putting these in nicknames or
custom text.

## Storage and sharing

Wallet records and preferences use Chrome's `chrome.storage.sync` API. When
Chrome Sync is enabled, Google handles cross-device synchronization under its
browser sync service and privacy policy. With sync disabled, records remain on
the current device. Theme and language are also cached locally to avoid display
flicker.

Perk Done operates no backend and does not upload wallet records to its
developer. It does not sell these records or use them for advertising. There
are no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking components. It does not
connect to banks, read transactions or browsing history, or inject content into
webpages. The card catalog and artwork are bundled with the extension; it does
not fetch them from issuers at runtime. If you choose to open an issuer link,
that website's own privacy policy applies.

## Feedback email

The Feedback button opens your email application addressed to
`perkdonedev@gmail.com`. Nothing is sent automatically. If you send an email,
the developer receives your email address and whatever information you include
and uses it to respond to feedback or support requests. Your email provider
handles delivery under its own policies. Avoid sending full card numbers or
bank credentials. You can request deletion of feedback emails at the same
address. Public GitHub issues are visible to others and subject to GitHub's
policies.

## Managing your records

Hiding a perk preserves its history. You can undo completions or remove a card;
removing a card deletes that card's annual records. Uninstalling may delete
extension data on the current device. Chrome handles synchronization and
cross-device deletion. Keep an independent backup of important records.

The development web preview uses a separate browser-local wallet and does not
automatically transfer records to the installed extension. Demo cards and
completion records are not saved; theme and language choices are saved as
preferences.

隐藏权益保留历史；撤销完成会移除该次完成状态；移除卡片会删除该卡所有年度记录。卸载可能删除本地扩展数据，跨设备同步和删除由 Chrome 处理。开发网页预览和扩展钱包独立，示例记录不保存，但主题和语言偏好会保存。重要记录请另外备份。
