Overview

Tweet Unyeet is a Chrome extension that saves tweets you scroll past on your X home timeline so you can find them again later. This privacy policy explains how the extension handles data.

Data Collection and Use

Data We Collect

Saved tweets: Author display name, tweet text, tweet URL, and which home timeline tab you were viewing. Stored locally when a tweet enters your viewport on x.com/home.
User preferences: Max tweets to keep, which timeline tabs to save from, and detected timeline tab names. Stored locally in chrome.storage.local.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Your X/Twitter login credentials or passwords
Browsing history outside x.com and twitter.com
Data from other browser tabs or windows
Personal contact information (email, address, phone)
Location data
Financial or payment information

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local. No data is transmitted to external servers. Data persists until you uninstall the extension or clear extension data in Chrome settings.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not send data to any third-party services. All processing occurs locally on your device. The extension reads public tweet content from X pages you visit; it does not call X APIs or third-party analytics.

Permissions

`storage`	Save tweets and settings locally in your browser
Host access (x.com, twitter.com)	Detect and save tweets from your home timeline only

Your Rights

View your data: Open the extension popup to see saved tweets and settings.
Delete your data: Uninstall the extension, or go to Chrome Settings → Extensions → Tweet Unyeet → Details → Clear data.
Disable anytime: Turn off the extension at chrome://extensions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.

Children's Privacy

This extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
