--- name: calorie-streak-calendars description: Streak calendar of the days the user stayed under their daily calorie limit, one month grid per month since their CalSlashD start date, with current and best streak. Use when the user asks for a streak calendar, calorie streak, or which days they were under their limit. Needs Apple Health (Claude or ChatGPT on iOS). --- # Calorie streak calendars A month-by-month calendar marking each day the user's logged food (net of exercise calories when `eat_back` is on) stayed at or under their daily `limit`, built only from Apple Health and settings the user told you. It never reads the CalSlashD app. Use the script for the grid and streaks, never estimate. ## Steps 1. **Check Health access.** Needs *Dietary Energy*, plus *Active Energy* only if `eat_back` is on, via this host's own Health integration (Claude or ChatGPT on iOS). Apple Health exists only on iOS. If access is missing, say how to connect it in the iOS app and stop. 2. **Get settings from memory** (shared with the `insights` skill), else ask once and save: `limit` (kcal/day), `start_date` (YYYY-MM-DD), `tz` (IANA), `eat_back` (ask as "subtract your exercise calories and use net instead"), optional `skipped_dates`. 3. **Read Health per day.** For every local day from `start_date` through today (local midnight to midnight, all sources), sum dietary energy and, if `eat_back`, active energy. kcal only (kJ ÷ 4.184). Build `days`: `{"YYYY-MM-DD": {"dietary": .., "active": ..}}`. Leave out days with no entries. **Net, not gross, when `eat_back` is on.** Each day is judged on `net = dietary − active`, never on dietary alone, so a day with 2,400 dietary and 600 active is 1,800 net and counts as under a 2,000 limit. Always pass `active` for every day when `eat_back` is on; the script does the subtraction. With `eat_back` off, use dietary only and ignore active energy. When describing a day to the user, quote its net value. 4. **Render.** `scripts/` is next to this SKILL.md: if the relative path fails, `find / -path '*calorie-streak-calendars/scripts/streak.py' 2>/dev/null`. Run `python3 scripts/streak.py '{"tz":..,"start_date":..,"limit":..,"eat_back":..,"days":{..},"skipped_dates":[..]}'`. Show the output verbatim in a code block, every month, oldest first. No code execution? Say so and stop; don't draw it by hand. 5. **Explain briefly.** Day rules: ✅ under or at the limit; ❌ over; ⬜ nothing logged (breaks the streak, since an untracked day can't be shown to be under); ➖ skipped (neutral); ⏳ today, still open and not counted in streaks. 6. **Footer.
