It seems to have been somethong of a challenge to render into Manx. In the title it becomes crauee, then we have dowin x3, dy dowin x2, dy dowin smooinaghtagh (predicate), arrymagh x2, dy jeidjagh; a passage that would have appeared on p. 6 with seven occurrences of serious is omitted altogether, and two other cases of serious are not translated. Eternity is consistently rendered beaynid, but eternal is never rendered beayn, but always dy bragh farraghtyn or farraghtyn son dy bragh \u2018everlasting\u2019, though beayn is not rare in other texts of the period (early 19th century).\n",
