As with all things on this list it is helpful if we explain the level of our
Cleric. I am only level 12. The first spell wiz's get like this is at level
16 Shieldskin. It stops about 100 hit points of melee damage then
disappears. However Magical attacks are not effected at all. It requires a
regent. Like our own level 14 spell that increases our hit points. I have
heard ,but have not had it verified ,that a magical attack nullifies it. It
is a long cast and therefore needs to be done before combat. It certainly
does not make them invulnerable!

I forget the name of the shield...mobs have it to. You hit them and it
absorbs everything like our divine aura/barrier. That's more than enough
for them to cast and ream us.

Not sure what magical shields you are talking about. Wizards only get AC
adding and small damage ones. Which hardly makes them immune. As for melee
sure we suck against fighters ..rangers, warriors etc. but against pure
casters we rock!

and btw- whacking them with weapons wont do squat if they have their magical

shields up, ESPECIALLY if your a cleric....we suck with melee

Maybe I need to clarify this, if you stun them and run behind them, you
can keep whacking them from behind with your weapon. TRUST ME,
STUN/Wrath etc, works GREAT. Blind also works, but a blinded foe CAN
STILL CAST on you, a stunned one CANT.
