No you will only lose your character if you cancel and don't sign back up
within 3 months. It's not 6 months it's 3, When I canceled my account a few
months back and it ran out it told me I had 3 months to resign up before I'd
lose everything. So I go by what they thing told me and not whats on a Q&A
site.
