I respond:

"nope, i just "eyeball" it. having played quake and quake II, you just
get a feel for when your framerates go below 25. :) What rez are you
running at, anyway? I'm running in 1024x768, with all the goodies turned
on to the max.

P.S. This may go further in proving that even a 450Mhz K6-III can't do
what a PII does in it's sleep :)
